One of the most well-known and most photographed spots in Wenduine is without a doubt the Spioenkop, with its white pavilion topped by a red roof. Standing at no less than 31 meters high, it is the second-highest dune on the Belgian coast. The Spioenkop can be reached via several paths or a staircase integrated into the dunes and is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.

Parc Astrid is a young and dynamic tennis and padel club, located in the heart of Wenduine, just steps from the beach. This cozy and family-friendly club offers a welcoming atmosphere for all.
After your game, enjoy a drink in the club bar, lounge, or out on the sunny terrace. In addition to two clay tennis courts and one padel court, there is a beautiful playground where children can have plenty of fun.
Mini-golf and pétanque are also available in Astrid Park.
If you're looking for more than just swimming a few laps or splashing around, head to the nearby Center Parcs complex, where Aqua Mundo, Kids World, various cafés and restaurants, as well as sauna and wellness facilities, offer a refreshing day out for the whole family.
In this tropical swimming paradise full of palm trees, you’ll find a wave pool, the new wild water rapids, jacuzzis, two water slides (including the Black Hole), a children’s activity pool, and of course, an outdoor pool. Time to splash and enjoy!

The ‘La Potinière’ domain (2.2 hectares) forms the green lung of the town. This child-friendly city park offers a wide range of leisure activities: 3 tennis courts, a mini-golf course, a sunbathing lawn, 2 playgrounds, a pétanque court, and at its center, a multifunctional pavilion with a café.

Covering more than 1,400 hectares, this polder landscape is an absolute must for those wanting to explore the typical coastal polders. Together with a narrow dune belt featuring three lakes fed by a freshwater lens beneath the dunes—aptly named De Fonteintjes—this area is one you definitely don’t want to miss on your list of outings!
